If you drive around this time of year, this is what you will see. Hay everywhere! Fresh cut hay fields are so beautiful. Good thing I like them because there are a lot of them. (:

Yesterday, I went to a big art fair here in Florence. It was so inspiring to see all the beautiful artwork! It made me want to rush home and start painting. If everything goes as planned, I will set up a tent and join them next year. (:

Commission Finished

16x20x3/4
This piece was painted from a photo that was taken a few weeks ago. I am pleased with the outcome. I hope the owners are as well. I have another commission piece to do, but I think I will sneak one or two of my own in before I start it. (;

Hey all! I know it has been a while since I posted anything new. I am still working on commission stuff. The painting I posted today is a older one that painted from a photo (the photo of the painting is brighter than it should be). I took the photo in Gatlinburg, TN on vacation a few years ago... Cade's Cove I think. I love it there! I hope to go back very soon. Anyway, I hope to have some new work to post soon, so keep checking back. (:

This commission is for a person that's a University of Alabama fan. I thought I would go nuts before I got the houndstooth pattern painted! lol! Sorry, the lighting was not that great when I photographed it. Well... on to the next. (:
